In my classes you will speak Spanish from the very beginning, encouraging fluency. More than nine years of experience teaching. I am also doing a phd in Medieval Greek Literature, and I teach Ancient Greek in the University of Buenos Aires. I love talking about culture and literature.
In my free time I am a volunteer in an NGO, and I like travelling.

Mi nombre es Paloma. Trabajo como profesora hace nueve años, estoy haciendo un doctorado en Literatura Griega Medieval y soy profesora de griego en la UBA. Me encanta conversar sobre cultura y literatura.
En mi tiempo libre soy voluntaria en una ONG, hago acrobacias aéreas y me gusta viajar.
Before our first class, I ask you to answer some leveling questions to identify what aspects we need to improve and class by class we work on the weak points through different strategies. I do not use handbooks, the material is always adapted to you.

Antes de nuestra primera clase, te pido que respondas unas preguntas de nivelación para identificar qué aspectos debemos mejorar y clase a clase vamos trabajando sobre los puntos débiles a través de diferentes estrategias. No utilizo manuales, preparo material adaptado.
I have experience as a private teacher as well as in groups. I create my own teaching material. I also adapt to your needs, for example if you want to learn the language to travel, prepare an exam or enter to any University.

In the first lesson we staked out the path to follow in the ones to come. All I can say now is that Paloma makes a conscious effort to accommodate my needs and wishes. And that she enunciates clearly and speaks at the right speed for me, so I understand most anything immediately.

I've been studying with Paloma for 5 months now, and I see the progress. I started with 0 experience in Spanish, and now I moved to Argentina and can have simple conversations in restaurants, shops, and with people in general.
It's hard to learn a new language when you are an adult, but with Paloma it's fun, and we can talk about everything.

Con Paloma cada clase es mejor que la anterior. Más allá de enseñarte español (¡lo que ya no sería poco y lo hace muy bien!), te lleva a pasear por la literatura y la historia de Argentina como pocos profesores consiguen.
