☆〜 Amy sensei ☆〜

I have completed 11 lessons with Ami sensei and every single one has been really fun, informative, and helped me grow my confidence in Japanese. Whenever I have trouble with anything we're learning, she takes her time and goes over it with me until I feel comfortable. That amount of dedication makes me continue to book lessons with her, not to mention how encouraging she is. I hope to continue working with Ami sensei in my journey to become fluent in Japanese. I would highly recommended Ami sensei to any student who wants a detail oriented, kind, and energetic teacher!

As a beginner student I was a bit nervous about jumping into Japanese as it is known for being very difficult (むずかし!). Asami-san is brilliant and makes learning Japanese a really fun journey. I was already going through the Genki books but in two lessons I've already gained so much additional vocabularly and more importantly listening practice and corrections on pronounciation. I cannot recommend Asami-san enough if you want to learn Japanese, book some lessons in. You learn so much in an hour. あさみさんのレッスンはたのしです. ありがとうございます

Amy sensei est très gentille.

Asami sensei is tutoring my 12 year old daughter and she’s really enjoying it. Asami-sensei is very organized and provides materials for my daughter to go over.

I really admire Amy Sensei's attentiveness. When I mentioned that I did not now a grammar point which came up during our conversation at the start of class, she found & shared a pdf file discussing this grammar point in no time! Since the pdf also contained multiple words I did not know, she rephrased the example sentences in simpler Japanese such that I could understand without translating them into English. She even send the pdf to me afterward, such that I can keep studying the grammar & vocabulary. This is just one example why I certainly recommend her lessons :)
