Hi! My name is Ligia Caciagli and I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. I have dual citizenship (Brazilian/ Italian) which helped me to be exposed to languages since I was a baby. I lived for six years in the USA and worked as a teacher most of the time. I can speak a few languages, but I teach only Portuguese and English for more than 11 years. I also have a four-year college degree in Pedagogy (Education) where I learned several teaching techniques to be able to help my students to learn faster and with lots of fun. I love teaching, traveling and meeting people from different countries!

我的教學經歷

Since I was a little girl I remember teaching my neighbors and friends. When I was 18 years old I moved to the USA and my career started as a kindergarten teacher. Over there I got several teaching certificates as well. When I decided to go back to Brazil I got into one of the best universities in the Educational field. Then, I studied for four years, learning many teaching methodologies. Teaching is my passion, so that's why I've been doing this for more than 11 years. I love to see my sudents learning and overcoming their difficulties! It gives me so much joy!

我的課程內容與教學風格

I usually use textbooks, videos, literature books, pdf files and slides. Each student has a way of learning. Knowing the way that they learn you can start developing a methodology that best suits them. There's no recipe for teaching because each individual has a style and the teacher needs to be aware of that to be able to reach the student. In my first lessons I try to analyse that and use the best teaching technique for them. I am a very patient and flexible teacher.
