The most great teacher I have ever met, alway prepare lessons and tries his best to help you. I have tried more than 30 teachers here on Italki, and I would highly recommend Pierre.

Great English conversation practice with Pierre! He is patient, calm, respectful and open-minded about the world. He asked me interesting questions on countries and cultures, linguistics, videogames, my hobbies and interests and other topics. We've talked a lot on these topics and we both shared interesting stories and facts about each other and he gave me interesting facts that I didn't know before on topics mentioned. I've had enough time to express myself and speak out on these topics and he is a good listener. He is a former scientist and science is his passion! He also traveled a lot and he loves meeting international students which is awesome and he loves learning about different countries, languages and cultures. It was great to meet him and I hope to have a class with him next time!

For the first time I see a teacher who is so involved in the process. Despite his initial introverted appearance, Pierre is an excellent English teacher. It quickly became clear that Pierre is friendly and approachable, and also incredibly motivating and inspiring. Pierre's teaching style is superb. He is patient, and his explanations are clear. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help you understand a word or concept. I would recommend to anyone, regardless of their English level. He is not only engaging and friendly, but also extremely professional and dedicated to his students' improvement. Pierre, you do a great job, keep teaching, please.

I shared an excerpt from my novel with Pierre, and I really appreciated the depth of his feedback. While many tutors tend to describe my writing simply as “descriptive,” Pierre went much further. He discussed the differences between Eastern and Western cultural perspectives, how well a literary text can be adapted or transferred between languages, and even practical techniques and considerations that could be useful when it comes to publication. What I valued most, however, was that he responded to my work as a genuinely attentive reader. Rather than simply giving compliments or focusing on language corrections, he told me honestly what he noticed, felt, and thought while reading the excerpt. For someone who takes writing seriously, this kind of thoughtful and sincere response is incredibly valuable. It was a very stimulating and rewarding lesson. Thank you so much, Pierre!
