Marianne

Marianne is an excellent teacher. She is incredibly encouraging and understanding, and gives excellent advice. Most importantly, she is easy to talk to, which makes continuing to learn French an easy and motivating task.

My course with Marianne has been a real pleasure. The lessons are relaxed and engaging, making it easy to maintain a conversation across a wide variety of topics.

Marianne spoke with me in French most of the time, but she was able to explain a couple of questions I had in English when I wasn't sure I followed in French (I had actually understood, but the confirmation helped). She also translated some vocabulary words for some of my hobbies and a couple of expressions. She is very patient with someone who knows a bit of French but is making the transition to speaking and communicating effectively in the language! Thank you!

I highly recommend this teacher. She is helping me with exactly what I need in advance of a trip to France. I plan to continue meeting with her toward my ultimate goal of becoming more fluent.
