Hello, my name is Juliana. I am native Brazilian who lives in France! I’m here on Italki to help you unlock your Portuguese and everything this language has to offer as well as Brazilian culture! For curiosity I have a bachelor’s degree in International Trade, I am a former athlete and studying French at the moment. I'm also passionate about musical instruments! Let's chat! I am particularly self-taught and have always been in groups of friends who like to debate and teach one another. In this way I have always dealt a lot with the issue of teaching and also being taught. Whether complex or basic subjects. Now I have found the opportunity to teach my native language, Portuguese! By the way, I believe you are ready to take over this challenge! My lessons are given according to the best skill of the student, this we'll discover together! In addition to bringing texts, music, videos, movies, podcasts, Powerpoint presentations we'll have conversation class. I use two methods to master Portuguese language. The first one is "Shadowing" where the student will shadow the character/announcer. While listening to the dialogue, you'll repeat what's spoken. This will bring fluidity and native accents. And the last method is called "flashcards". In this, we'll use the Anki platform to memorize and internalize vocabularies, verbs, short phrases and expressions. This app will increase your ability to memorize making the learning process natural.

I can’t recommend Julianna enough. We talk about our interests and weeks to start, which I enjoy. She speaks multiple languages so she knows what it’s like learn a new language. Her material is very well put together, and very thought out. She sends it it me to review and always answers any questions I have.
