Hi! I’m Aiko, a native Japanese teacher from Nagano, Japan, living in Bali.
I offer engaging lessons where I guide conversations with supportive questions, so they flow naturally even with limited Japanese.
What you can expect :
・English explanations when needed
・Topic requests and questions welcome
・Beginners welcome, even if you’re still studying hiragana
・An inclusive, respectful learning space
・Useful words shared in the chat (20–30 per 60-minute lesson)
Not a good fit if you mainly want joke-heavy or very casual conversation.

I guide conversations with supportive questions and create a safe, inclusive space.
In short: My lessons are chosen for depth and quality, not low prices or flashy style.

My lessons focus on communication, accuracy, and understanding, not pressure or constant correction.

・Guided conversation based on your interests
・Practical practice: role play and sentence correction
・Structured lessons (optional) using Minna no Nihongo, GENKI, or Irodori
✅ How I give feedback
I usually use recasts instead of interrupting.
I repeat your sentence in a natural, correct form.
Example:
You: 昨日、友達と会います。
Me: そうですか。昨日、友達と「会いました」ね。
(I repeat the correct form naturally.)
✅ What I ask from students
Please join the lesson with a friendly, respectful attitude.
