Hi! I'm Joon, a certified Korean tutor with 7+ years of experience and over 1,200 hours teaching online. My lessons focus on practical speaking skills rather than grammar rules, helping you build sentences easily and speak Korean naturally.
Having learned languages like English, Turkish, and Spanish myself, I understand the struggles learners face. I design lessons that are intuitive, stress-free, and engaging.
I also develop interactive materials such as visual slides, real-life audio, and structured exercises, providing review slides and practice audio after every session. My goal is making Korean fun, easy to learn, and practical for real conversations.我的教學經歷

My lessons emphasize interaction. Instead of traditional, text-heavy methods, I use visual slides I designed myself, along with audio recordings, to keep students engaged and motivated.
I’m always thinking about how to make learning Korean fun, immersive, and practical. I regularly look for new ways to motivate students, designing lessons that are structured yet flexible, ensuring steady progress without boredom.

My teaching style is all about speaking confidently from the start. Using pattern-based learning, students quickly build sentences like “커피 마셔요” (I drink coffee) and gradually expand them into longer sentences.
I use a method where learners master basic sentence patterns first and then expand them gradually by swapping words and adding new details.

We played a great geography game today. It was a lot of fun trying to give directions and describe things in Korean. Very fun and a good challenge.

Today was so much fun. We had gone to a concert over the weekend so wave some lessons today and the next meeting going over what we saw, what we bought, how we enjoyed it. Really good applicable, conversational language use. The best part was tying in and using our existing language set with some new vocabulary words to tie it all together.
