conversation practice Hello! I am Kano. I am from Japan, and I live in America, work full time in an automotive company. I enjoy teaching here on italki when I have some spare time. I taught Japanese to people who want to study/work in Japan as a volunteer before when I was in Japan. I think I am patient and a good listener to learners. I took a Japanese teaching course in England long time ago. I think to have conversation regularly helps improve your Japanese. こんにちは。わたしの名前はかのです。Konnichiwa watashi no namae wa Kano desu. 日本生まれ、日本育ちで、現在はアメリカで暮らしています。Nihonumare nihonsodachi de genzai wa Amerika de kurashiteimasu. I have been learning English since I was a student in Japan and I know it's not easy to get better with foreign languages when you don't use them daily. I will help you with Japanese conversation by letting you know when you use incorrect Japanese. For your practice, I would like to listen to you more than me speaking and try my best to see you enjoying using Japanese. My lesson is based on conversation and student's output. I will try to adjust my schedule accordingly, feel free to send me a request.

I just had my first lesson with Kanoさん, and as others have said, she's very nice and friendly. I had a really fun lesson that flew by. Kanoさん asked really intriguing and astute questions that allowed me to use a lot of different Japanese as well as learn some new terms that I haven't heard before. Most of all though, I had a great time.
