Vasila ✨️

Я впервые начал изучать немецкий язык около года назад. Около шести месяцев я занимался самостоятельно. Потом, как это всегда бывает приходит время когда нужно обратиться к профессору. Выбор Васила был, на бумаге, простым - человек который изучал несколько языков и с которым я мог бы исследовать трудности немецкого языка на русском. Но в конце концов эта оценка на бумаге часто оказывается обманчивой, потому что компетентность сама по себе не делает учителя хорошим учителем. Гораздо более фундаментальным аспектом является другой - создает ли учитель в ученике любопытство, желание заниматься предметом? Васила создает это желание. Сколько раз я обнаруживал себя изучающим темы которые рассматривались в классе в течение дня потому что у меня был несколько вопросов, которые еще вертелись у меня в голове и на которые нужно было ответить. Мне не хочется бросать весь материал по немецкому языку после каждого урока. А это, в конечном счете, является тем что гарантирует успех в изучении языка.

It is always a wonderful experience with Vasila. My lessons are tailored to my needs. When I began with her, I let her know how I would like to approach the lessons and she listened to me. Vasila is easy to understand. She isn’t a native German speaker. That is fine by me. She understands the difficulty of learning another language. There are times when something doesn’t translate as easily into English. She will let me know common and unusual translations. I also get to learn about her culture because there may be differences between German / English / Serbian. That is interesting to me. This is a way to see how the cultures compare to each other. She talks at a comfortable speed for me. We have a time of general talking and a time for the directed lesson. She will send me a list of new words we discussed so I can go back and study those words further. I look forward to each lesson. I know I’ll walk away from each lesson learning more than just words.

Today I had my fourth lesson with Vasila, and I look forward to our 5th. Vasila is all of kind, caring and organised, however what I enjoy most about our lesson is the passion that she brings. Some teachers on Italki almost feel robotic, however it feels as though Vasila genuinely cares about our lesson, languages and my progress. The extra touch of personalisation - whether it be aspects of the lesson, or the lesson running overtime be a few minutes - makes me feel considered, engaged and as equally passionate. All of the above makes the process fun and fulfilling, all whilst at an extremely reasonable price.

I've had lessons with Vasilija for quite a while now and she is one of the best teachers I've worked with, and studying many languages on this platform, I've had a lot of teachers. She has great energy, humor and wit and class is always relaxed, enjoyable and productive. I highly recommend her.

I have been taking German lessons with Vasila for quite some time now, and I am enjoying it a lot. She is very kind, professional, positive and inspirational. I always look forward to our classes and leave with a positive experience:-)
