I’m Moe from Kyoto (now in Tokyo), a qualified Japanese teacher specializing in beginner-friendly grammar and natural conversation — perfect if you’re starting from scratch or polishing your skills!
I have over 3 years of online teaching experience, and I’m currently teaching international students at a Japanese language school in Tokyo. I love helping students from all over the world speak confidently. As a language learner myself (English, Chinese, now French!), I understand both the challenges and joys of practicing daily. I also love travel! Visiting 15+ countries has shown me the power of connecting through language. I’m here to help you on your Japanese learning journey 🥳我的教學經歷
I’m a qualified Japanese teacher with over 3 years of online teaching experience, and currently teaching international students at a Japanese language school in Tokyo.
I’ve taught students from all over the world both in Japan and abroad. As someone who’s also learning new languages from scratch, I understand both the challenges and the joy of actually using what you’ve learned. In my lessons, I aim to help you not only learn Japanese as knowledge, but also use it confidently in real-life situations.

This class focuses on learning basic Japanese grammar through conversation and practice.
We’ll use PowerPoint slides I’ve created based on the books.
◆ Conversation Practice
This is an open-topic class where we can chat freely or read an article together.
You’re welcome to talk about your hobbies, daily life, or culture — anything you like!
Let’s talk a lot, have fun, and build your confidence in speaking naturally.
◆ Informal Tutoring
This flexible class is designed according to your personal goals or requests.

Moesans lessons are very good and are delivered in a fun, relaxed and informative manner. In the lessons there is a good balance when learning new grammar and practicing it afterwards to ensure it is understood. The homework feedback is also very useful to practice all the learnt grammar further. Thank you.

Another lesson down!
Moe-san is a patient, kind, and conscientious sensei. I had a great lesson with her. Her teaching flow is fluid and her slides are well put together. She explained grammar well and we had plenty of practice speaking. She tries to speak mostly in Japanese so I get used to hearing it as well as pick up on some of the vocabs, but it helps tremendously that she is proficient in English, especially when I don't understand something and need a more in-depth explanation.

1) She's very kind and encouraging. I know she won't judge my mistakes and will celebrate when I get it right.
2) Her syllabus for beginners is comprehensive & well-paced. It's perfect if you don't know where to start or if you like following a course.
