I'm Nanna. I was born in Tokyo.
I have worked for social education organizations and international cooperation NGO.
I have traveled to Thailand, Australia, Bangladesh, Korea, Timor-Leste, Philippines, Myanmar, Cuba and Germany.
I moved to the countryside in Japan now.
Because I'm interested in organic living.
I grow oganic vegetables and raise hens.
I'm exploring how to make preserved food by processing the produces I grow.
The food I make is safe and delicious.

I studied Japanese language education at a university in Tokyo.
I'm teaching Japanese in the class of my town now.
I would like to tell you about the wonderful points that Japanese culture has.

Nanna-san is very patient when helping me with my Japanese which is important since I'm a beginner and frequently struggle putting together even simple sentences. She'll help by typing in the correct phrasing for what I'm trying to say so I can read it in addition to listening. She's very open and willing to share what's going on in her area so the lesson feels more like a friendly conversation than an actual class.

Nanna is a wonderful teacher and I enjoyed the class a lot! She prepared it with lots of love and dedication, I could sense that from the first second. She made me feel so comfortable in my first Japanese lesson.

It has been a long time since I wanted to learn Japanese, and I found the perfect teacher to fulfil my attends. Moreover, she is every time taking time to teach me about some very cool parts of the Japanese culture. I really feel helped and these lessons feed my passion.
