안녕하세요! 엄현수입니다.
3년 이상 학생들의 글쓰기와 일상 회화 위주로 한국어를 가르쳤어요. 제가 중요하게 생각하는 것은 "자신감" 이에요! 우선 한국어로 말해보세요! 저와 친구처럼 대화하면서 자연스럽게 한국어 실력이 늘 거예요. 어색한 부분이나 더 어울리는 말, 그리고 재밌는 말 모두 제가 가르쳐드릴게요!
토픽(TOPIK)시험 준비도 도와드립니다! 영어와 간단한 중국어로 설명이 가능해요.
저는 관심 분야가 많아요. 예술, 정치, 사회, 환경, 운동, 요리 등! 수업에서도 다양한 주제로 자연스러운 한국어 표현을 연습해보아요. *여러분의 관심사*를 중심으로 함께 즐겁게 공부하며 진짜 한국어를 말해봐요!

Since I'm a funny one, I'll make a bright atmosphere so that you don't get nervous in class and induce questions to talk about various topics. So that you can freely talk about today's story, what happened today, and how you feel.
And if you make a mistake, I'll be able to correct it right away or correct it at once, and I'll provide you with feedback according to your preference.

Hyunsoo is so amazing - she kindly allowed me to bring my own lesson materials and explained to me some really useful Korean phrases for working in a restaurant. I know I'll use everything that I learned a LOT, and I really appreciate her patience with my (many many) questions. She's good at explaining WHY things are the way they are too. Thank you!!!

사실 엄청 긴장했는데 선생님이 잘 들어주시고 많이 도와주셔서 감사해요! I was really nervous at first but she was so patient and always picked up on everything so quickly and perfectly. I already feel like I learned a lot! Highly recommend 😊

현수 is the best. She is great at helping you figure out how to communicate naturally while encouraging you to try to find the right way yourself, with endless patience. She's quick-witted and kind, able to talk about anything and everything. I think we all know how nervous we can get when trying to speak in another language, but 현수 made me feel at ease in record time. That has done wonders for my ability to speak in Korean without fear of failure. I'm lucky to have found her and if you're reading this, then you're lucky too!

I’ve been taking Hyunsoo’s lessons for a few weeks now and she’s been delightful :) We chat freely, but she makes sure to introduce me to words and expressions that I could never learn from textbooks. If your goal is to work on real, everyday spoken Korean, I highly recommend booking a lesson with her. A very genuine and fun teacher that I always gladly come back to!
