こんにちは！ 日本語教師のRikaです。 I'm a full-time teacher from Yokohama, Japan. I am an experienced and native Japanese teacher.
1999-2006 - I taught in Yokohama.
2007-2021 - I taught in the Bay Area of California.
2021- Currently, I'm teaching in Yokohama online.
I love traveling and wine🍷. I love watching drama and anime, especially SPY×FAMILY and Demon Slayer. I love interacting with people around the world. I used to go out with my students, have parties, and enjoy gathering all my students. I love to keep a good relationship with my students!我的教學經歷

My teaching uses materials based on the "Minna no Nihongo," "Marugoto," "Genki," and other textbooks for beginnings. Still, I combine other materials for more practice and to be able to understand what kind of situation to use. Use Drama and Anime for the upper beginners.
It depends on your goal and interest. We try many other things!

日本語教師日本で７年くらい、カリフォルニアで１５年くらいフリーランスで日本語を教えていました。カリフォルニアでは日本に来たことのない方が多かったので、文化や習慣の違いはもちろん、常識や考え方やとらえ方の相違を身をもって知ることができました。言葉の一つ一つに含まれるニュアンスなどの違いも教えることができます。

I honestly feel like at the end of every lesson I am significantly more enlightened on the ins and outs of the Japanese language and honestly cannot recommend Rika Sensei enough, she has a perfectly balanced teaching style that allows as a student a lot of personal growth. She is easily one of the best teachers you could possibly book for yourself on iTalki and I cannot recommend her enough!
