🇦🇺 I'm Australian! I have lived in Sydney, Melbourne & Newcastle.
🇬🇧 I have also lived in UK, Canada, Hawaii & Bali.
🌏 Nothing brings me more joy than meeting students from around the world!

🍉 My chats are for people who wish to practice conversational English with a native speaker.
🥝 My style is very laid back. With me, it will feel like two friends having a catch up.
🍉 I can teach you Aussie slang and all about my country (if you want).
‼️Cancellation Policy: Please understand italki is my sole source of income. Therefore I need to have a policy in place to protect myself financially. Please see below:
1) If you cancel more than 24 hrs before the lesson = no penalty.
2) If you cancel within the 24 hrs before the lesson = you will be charged 50% of the lesson cost.
3) If you "no show" = you will be charged 100% of the lesson cost.5.0

I wanted to learn more about Australian English and colloquial expressions. Lydia was very understanding and provided real-life examples, while also letting her Australian accent shine through. She even sent me a sheet of commonly used Aussie expressions. Thank you, Lydia, it was a great lesson!
