Scott Sell – Certified TEFL/TESOL instructor with over a decade of experience and an MBA in Leadership. I specialize in delivering tailored American English instruction across all proficiency levels (A1-C2), with expertise in Business English, advanced conversational skills for professional and social contexts, and TOEIC test preparation. My professional background enables me to effectively serve diverse learners across multiple industries. I take a student-centered approach, designing practical lessons that align with each learner's specific objectives, whether for career advancement or academic purposes.
I value good service, continuing education, and purposeful learning experiences. In a TOEIC class, a student questioned the usefulness of a lesson I taught. She was asking when and how she would use the material. I learned from her that lessons must be useful.
Teaching in a vocational institute, an international language institute, a community college, and in many private one-on-one settings, I have worked with learners and professionals from diverse cultures and in diverse industries.
My teaching experience includes 190-hour TEFL/TESOL (IDELT/Online) and Teaching Business English diploma, Canvas LMS certification, 3+ years of TOEIC teaching, and 10+ years in all levels of ESL instruction
