Rocio Fluency

Rocio is really extraordinary - I'm so glad I took her pronunciation course, and I wish I'd started it sooner! Her method is unique among all the teachers I've tried, with a genuine understanding of rhythm and sound. There are some French sounds that I couldn't even hear before working with Rocio, and the French people in my life really noticed the improvement once I started working with her. Highly recommend!

I keep coming back for classes with Rocio because she offers something rare & unique. Not only does she have all the fundamentals required to teach like the delicate combination of encouraging words and critical feedback, the ability to converse & make one feel comfortable in conversation, but she is trained in phonetics and the sounds of Spanish and actively trains herself to develop the ability to teach others how to come much closer to having a native-like accent. I cannot overstate how GOOD Rocio is at her job. I have spent decades trying to find a pronunciation and phonetics teacher. No one is even close to her level of professionalism and knowledge. Wow, it's amazing how Rocio can make pronunciation classes so fun AND so astoundingly effective. Classes feel almost like games at times, but through all the playful activities Rocio is training my ear to detect sounds with more precision and my mouth to link sounds together more smoothly and naturally. I'm having so much fun and am learning to see, hear, and understand the French language at deeper levels than ever before.
