My Spanish is improving so much with José! As an aside, I used the patient questions and follow-up questions that José helped me with (which we created in a previous class) in order for me to collect a clinical history, and it went super smoothly! Everything was clearly answered, and I got all the information I needed from the patient!!! He's currently helping me learn how to write clinical observations in Spanish. He has been so integral to my professional growth, and he's always so supportive and understanding. He's so fun to talk to so sometimes I get sidetracked and talk about non-clinical things (which is also great practice) and he also makes space for that, but he's also really thoughtful and reminds me and brings me back to the clinical stuff so that I get that done as well. He's such a wonderful teacher, I really appreciate his expertise, personality, his feedback, and his encouragement!

Jose is one of the best teachers of any subject I have ever met. The structure of his classes are great and you feel accomplished by the end. On top of this he focuses on your needs and is a medical professional. Really an amazing teacher, I highly recommend to anyone do your classes with Jose!

Jose is an amazing teacher. He is friendly, open, and knowledgeable about how to run the lesson in order to maximize your learning. He also gives you multiple ways to express the same idea and teaches you to navigate real conversations. He's especially great for learning medical Spanish as he is both humble and kind in providing the real ways to express medical terminology in Spanish (in a patient-friendly manner). Would book again!

I had an awesome first lesson with Jose. He does a great job asking questions to figure out the best way to help you based on your Spanish goals, and quickly leveraging resources to adapt. I'm looking forward to future lessons!

Jose is a great conversation partner and teacher! He is extremely patient, interesting and smart! I really look forward to my lessons with him. He is also a super nice person; I would totally want him to be my doctor if I were in Venezuela 😅. The hours I book with him always fly by, even though normally I would find it very exhausting to speak Spanish for so long!
