My name is Cydonie, I was born in London and currently live in the north of Italy, where I specialise in teaching business English to companies. I used to live in Nice, in the south of France where I taught undergraduate students at the Université Sophia Antipolis for 4 years.
Before teaching I worked as a jeweller and watch repairer for nearly 10 years, so I can teach you business vocabulary also if you are learning for professional reasons. I can also help you with IELTS and TOEIC preparation, and have the official ebook of exercises from previous exams that we can work through together.
So you would like to learn English? That's a good idea. When you combine native speakers with non-native speakers, English is the most widely spoken language in the world. Why not start your journey into the English language (or brush up what you’ve already started) and become an official ‘Anglophone’ by the end of 2020!
Je suis également heureuse d’enseigner aux débutants, si vous êtes francophones. De cette façon, nous avons toujours une langue mutuelle dans lequel travailler. J’utiliserai des vidéos, de la musique, des histoires et des articles pour vous faire parler autant que possible. Ceci est la clé du succès de résultats rapides !
Maybe you find it difficult to think in English, or are missing vocabulary that adds nuance, subtlety or humour to your speech? I like to deal with these missing words immediately with lots of examples phrases, so the context means they stay where they ...我的教材

Thanks a lot Cyd :). Today, we spoke about blablacar, sailing, holidays, food, relationship at work, dreams, sports, ski and more. I really appreciate her professionalism. She always smile and give you the best explanation when you have a difficulty of comprehension. She is really cultivated and has always a good opinion about a lot of different topics. She pushed me to speak english and support me even if I made mistakes. Her french is just amazing and I think as good as mine. She is the best teacher I've ever met on Italki.
