Hello! I’m Abe, a TEFL-certified English tutor with over four years of experience in language instruction. My expertise lies in conversational fluency, interview preparation, and innovative teaching methods—such as immersive learning into lessons to enhance engagement and retention. I used to teach English at my university, where I worked with foreign exchange students and also had language exchange partners. After that, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching. Along the way, I realized that teaching is a two-way street—you learn just as much from your students as they do from you. I find it incredibly fulfilling to watch my students succeed through their own efforts. I also take great pleasure in breaking down complex ideas in a way that makes them easier to understand. I like to take things slow at the beginning to assess the student’s level and identify any areas of difficulty through basic conversation. From there, I address the initial concerns and tailor the tutoring to fit the student’s specific needs. I make sure to find out if the student wants to focus on improving pronunciation, practicing conversation, or something else. I believe in being patient and not overly pushy, as open communication with the student is key. Currently, I teach conversation practice, pronunciation correction, and interview preparation. My lessons are conducted in English, so I expect students to have an understanding of the language.我的教材
