Hi! I’m Alyona — a Ukrainian teacher, translator, and certified English teacher with a Bachelor’s in Philology. I’m now pursuing a Master’s in Ukrainian Language and Literature.
I help learners of all levels master Ukrainian — whether you’re starting from scratch or want to speak more confidently. I’ll be honest: I love grammar and believe it’s the key to speaking clearly, but lessons are never just about rules.
We’ll practice speaking, listening, and real-life phrases you can actually use. I don’t rely on boring textbooks — instead, I create personalised lessons based on your goals, level, and learning style.

I always aim for a personal approach and try to find shared interests or topics with each student — it makes lessons more engaging and memorable. The more connections and curiosity you feel, the easier it is to learn and retain new material. I tailor my teaching to each student because everyone learns differently. Some prefer reading, others learn best visually or through interaction. I always take time to understand what works best for you and adjust lessons accordingly.
I love using fun, engaging methods like games, quizzes, and matching activities to keep lessons lively and effective. Most importantly, I create a supportive and relaxed environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes and growing your skills at your own pace.我的教材

I really enjoy my lessons with Alyona. Lessons are always fun and engaging, and she does a great job tailoring them to my needs. It’s honestly such a nice feeling to both enjoy the lesson and actually make real progress in Ukrainian at the same time.
One thing I especially appreciate is how she explains vocabulary. She often connects words to other related words or breaks them down into their roots, which makes everything so much easier to understand and remember. That approach has really helped me retain new words much more effectively. Now I’m looking forward to my next lesson with her ☺️
