Native Parisian French teacher - teaching since 2017 Hello,
My name is Philippe.
I grew in Paris, France from a French father who grew up in a city famous for a drink: Cognac. My mother grew up in Portugal and met my father in London while she was restoring paintings for a gallery.
Finally, they ended up in Paris where they got 2 kids. I'm the second one.
I studied in Paris Psychology and HR Management. Then worked in different fields: Recruitment, social services, NGO and now education.
I had the opportunity to travel quite well with more than 50 countries visited and 6 where I've stayed at least 3 months.
I'm interested in many topics such as travelling, cultures, food, art, architecture, IT, design, psychology, innovations...
I'm a native French speaker with over 5 years of teaching experience. I adapt lessons to various needs, focusing on conversational, traveling tips and business French while supporting all levels.
I employ interactive methods, including audio, visuals, and tailored exercises, to enhance speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills effectively.
My students say that I'm patient, adaptable, and skilled at creating a supportive learning environment.
