It was really enjoyable reading a popular Indonesian book with Riska today. It was like being at a book club with a true friend. I am very grateful that with Riska's help I have been able to reach a level of Indonesian where I can both read at novel level and discuss.

I had a great first lesson with Riska! She is very kind, has a fun and laidback approach and was very patient with me and my foreign accent. I even got to meet her cat at the end of the lesson! Thanks Riska, see you again soon :)

Great lesson with Riska! We continued learning unit 4 from the textbook. We read several passages, and Riska explained the meaning after I read them. We also learned about grammar points for "as...as...", and the prefix per-. Riska did a good job of making sure that she had the right definition for the difficult words!

Riska is an excellent Sundanese teacher. I highly recommend her for instruction in Indonesian or Sundanese. She is patient, kind, and flexible, and encouraging; even though I’m a total beginner in Sundanese, I feel motivated and confident thanks to her. I learn so much from our lessons, and I love that she goes way above and beyond to create interesting materials for us to review together. Hatur nuhun! 💕

Great lesson with Riska! We completed unit 4 in the textbook and moved on to unit 5. We also talked about being the oldest/youngest child in our family. Riska did a good job of explaining the dialogs that we read, and making sure that she had the proper definitions!

Great lesson with Riska! We started working on unit 4 in the textbook. We read several dialogs, which Riska asked me to explain. When I got the explanation wrong, Riska cleared up my misunderstandings. Riska did a good job of repeating the dialogs and explaining them!
