Hello! My name is Marvin, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Costa Rica. I studied Software Engineering, but I’m passionate about teaching Spanish and helping people from around the world learn the language.
As a language learner myself (I study English and Japanese), I understand how challenging learning a new language can be. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and practical so you can feel comfortable speaking and improving step by step.
I also enjoy sharing the culture of my country. If you’re interested in Costa Rica, travel, or Latin American culture, we can include those topics in our conversations.

I am a friendly, patient, and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students feel comfortable and confident while learning Spanish. My lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals, and preferences to make learning effective and enjoyable.
In conversation lessons, we focus on pronunciation, listening, and fluency to help you speak more naturally. In grammar lessons, we work on grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure so you can express yourself clearly and correctly.
During my time at university, I helped foreign students improve their Spanish skills, including speaking, writing, listening, and reading, with a strong focus on communication and practical grammar. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My goal is to help you become more fluent in Spanish as quickly and effectively as possible. I keep my lessons relaxed and fun so you can learn without pressure and feel comfortable practicing.
My teaching style focuses on natural and interactive conversations that help you improve speaking and listening skills. I also offer grammar lessons where we work on grammar, vocabulary, and practical exercises to help you develop and improve your Spanish quickly.
If you need help with presentations, professional interviews, essays, or homework, I can also design lessons focused on your specific needs.

A great sesion with Marvin, as always. This time we did a reading (instead of conversatiion). The topic he first chose didn't interst me very much, so I requested another. Within seconds, he chose another text that was fascinating. Marvin knows just when to step in and help me, and when to let me figure something out on my own. He provides examples of vocab usage when i need it. This time had a few minutes left to discuss it after I fin
ished reading, so we each gave our perspective on the topic. I highly recommend Marvin!
