Hi! I’m Yuan, a native Chinese teacher with 4 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa and a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate – Level 1, Grade A. Having studied and lived abroad, I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language. My classes are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. I specialize in HSK preparation (levels 1–6) and daily conversational Chinese, helping students build confidence step by step. Let’s make Chinese learning effective and enjoyable together!

我的教學經歷

I’ve been teaching Mandarin for four years, working with both teenagers and adults — many of them complete beginners. My lessons are personalized and goal-oriented, supported by clear PPT slides and well-designed materials. I always share class notes and homework to help students review and keep improving between lessons. In class, I mix practice, conversation, and mini games to make learning lively and effective. Students describe my teaching as patient, detailed, and encouraging — I care about every learner’s progress and aim to make Chinese both understandable and enjoyable.

I like breaking things down step by step and giving many examples until everything makes sense. I also use interactive practice and mini games to keep lessons lively and engaging. No matter your level, I’ll guide you at your own pace and help you enjoy learning Chinese in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere
