Hallo, ich bin Ida, 26 Jahre alt und komme aus Deutschland. Ich bin viel in Südostasien und Lateinamerika gereist. Ich habe Soziale Arbeit studiert und spreche fließend Englisch. Neben Reisen interessiere ich mich für die vegetarische Küche, Sport wie Joggen, Wandern und Surfen. Ich freue mich, dich kennenzulernen und dir beim Deutschlernen zu helfen!
Hello, I’m Ida, 26, from Germany, living in Indonesia. I’ve traveled a lot in Southeast Asia and Latin America. I studied social work and speak fluent English thanks to my partner. Als Lehrerin bin ich entspannt und unkompliziert. Mir ist es wichtig, dass du dich im Unterricht wohlfühlst und ohne Druck lernen kannst. Mein Ziel ist es, dich im Lernprozess zu unterstützen und dir die deutsche Sprache näherzubringen. Dabei möchte ich ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis haben, in dem du dich gut aufgehoben fühlst.
As a teacher, I’m relaxed and easygoing. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable in the lessons and can learn without pressure. In einer Stunde passe ich mich deinen Bedürfnissen an. Ich möchte wissen, welche Ziele du verfolgst und was du dir für den Unterricht wünschst. Ob Grammatik, Vokabeln oder Sprechen – alles ist möglich! Wir können den Unterricht schulisch oder lockerer gestalten, je nach deinen Vorlieben.
In a lesson, I adapt to your needs. I want to know what goals you're pursuing and what you wish for the lesson. Whether it's grammar, vocabulary, or speaking – anything is possible! We can structure the lesson either more academically or more casually, depending on your preferences.
I would just like to add that in the event of a no show to my lesson you will still be charged - this is Italki's rules5.0

I had my first lesson with Ida and it was a wonderful experience! She listens carefully, explains everything clearly, and had a structured plan for our next sessions based on my needs and expectations. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed, which made it easy to speak and stay engaged. We had a great conversation, and I already can’t wait for our next meeting. Maybe, in such a pleasant environment, I’ll finally fall in love with learning German! :) Highly recommended – especially if you're looking for someone supportive, professional, and easy to talk to.

Ida is really great at adjusting to my level and provides great suggestions for studying resources. I also appreciate that she tries to explain things in German rather than English where possible
