I’m a French polyglot that now lives in the Dominican Republic, where I work as an engineer in addition to teaching French. I’m passionate about languages and can speak fluently French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin as well as some words of German.
I have lived in more than 7 countries, including some in Europe, North America, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia. I genuinely love meeting new people and discovering their culture. Talking is also one of my passions, whatever the topic may be: travel, movies, history, engineering, etc.! So, no worries, I can guarantee you we won’t run out of discussion themes for our lessons ;).我的教學經歷
I have teaching experience both online and IRL.
I started helping students wishing to take their French to the next level as a community tutor on iTalki in September 2014.
As my passion for teaching my mother tongue developed, I chose to step up my game and obtain the DAEFLE certification. It enabled me to further hone my teaching skills, especially in pronunciation and grammar. I empower students of all levels from all around the world to achieve their personal or professional goals in French.
I also taught French at FeJ to total beginners. By creating and conducting engaging activities based on authentic documents, I helped my students expand their communicative skills in daily life.我的課程內容與教學風格
Adapting to fit my student’s goals is my motto. You can be sure that whatever is your aim, you’ll be able to nail it with my help.
During our first lesson, I’ll evaluate your current level and take note of your goals. I’ll then suggest a tailor-made strategy to achieve them. If needed, we can break your final objective (of achieving fluency, for example) into smaller S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely) goals. Being able to see the progress made definitely helps you stay motivated.
Each class will allow you to practice speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Plus, I can provide you homework to boost your learning experience outside our lessons.我的教材

DAEFLE - Alliance Française de Paris Ile-de-France - 2018I have successfully validated all 6 courses to obtain the DAEFLE certification (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère):
- éléments didactique et méthodologie générale du FLE;
- phonétique et méthodologie de la prononciation;
- enseigner la grammaire en FLE;
- l’évaluation en FLE;
- observation et guidage de classe;
- enseigner le français sur objectif spécifique (my specialization).

2017 - 2017
French TeacherI taught French at FeJ (Français en Jeu), a charity in francophone Switzerland that helps migrants integrate by offering them French lessons. It was a great human adventure that also helped me to develop my skills as a teacher. Enabling my students to interact with their new French-speaking environment was a gratifying mission. I also attended two training courses on « how to teach French using songs » and « assessing learning ».
