Hi! I’m Vanessa, a trilingual language teacher from Montreal, Canada.
Since 2014, I’ve helped students land jobs, travel confidently, and speak naturally.
I speak English, French, and Spanish fluently and am learning Portuguese and ASL,
so I truly understand what it’s like to be a student.
In Montreal, I use all three daily, surrounded by French, English, and Spanish at home.
This immersion enriches my teaching and deepens my love for languages.
Outside class, I’m a ceramic artist, pottery teacher, and tour guide.
I’m passionate about art, nature, sustainability, and personal growth.

Today’s lesson was terrific. After our initial trial, I felt more at ease speaking with Vanessa. I really like how she keeps track and shares new things we’ve learned and where I made mistakes. I said that I wanted to learn more about Faire, and after class, she updated the doc with many helpful links. I have been going through them and my next lesson, I will be prepared to better use this word!

Thank you for this lesson. It was not super easy for me but Vanessa did her best to make all things clear to me. She gives you a lot of synonims for one word so you can learn 5 words instead of 1. I hope the lessons with Vanessa will help me to improve my French quickly. Vanessa is a really good teacher.

Vanessa is a teacher focused on her students' needs and the best learning methods. Always punctual and willing to help, she offers interesting and easy-to-understand materials. She provides feedback and corrections when necessary in a gentle and friendly manner. Her classes are very light, engaging, and relaxed. She is a teacher with a wealth of resources (texts, images, music, videos), knowledge, and a teaching style that makes us want to learn even more about the language.

I've had five classes with Vanessa. She's a very nice and supportive teacher. Her lessons are interesting, really helpful. She taught me many new words, correct grammar and helped me to improve my writing skill. I'm glad to meet with the teacher.
