Hello, my name is Faith Aoko, I was born and mostly raised in Kisumu, Kenya.
I'm working toward understanding, and connecting deeply with myself ~ seeing myself humbly ~ understanding where I'm at and progressing from there ~ going back to doing the basic joys of life.
I'm currently traveling in Southeast Asia {Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand~current location}, that's why my availability on italki is as it is {time}.我的教學經歷
After graduating high school, I got an opportunity to teach Kiswahili in the same school for 4 months. Later on, I pursued Bachelor of Education (Arts: Kiswahili and Geography) for 2 years at the University, and I've been teaching both Luo and Swahili languages online for over 2 ½ years.
I intend to share my knowledge and cultural experiences, to help you acquire the languages in a way that will help you communicate effectively, based on your preferred method/interests of learning.我的課程內容與教學風格

Our lesson today was a good example of how Faith tailors her lessons to students' interests. She knows that we are interested in different cultures and in the arts. So earlier in the week she sent us pictures of hena hand tattoos. Today we discussed the pictures while being introduced to new vocabulary words like design, style, permanent and temporary. We feel like Faith really cares about us as individuals and is willing to put in the extra effort to help us learn. Try a lesson with her!
