I’ve spent the past 15 years teaching English, and it’s been a truly rewarding journey. For the last nine years, I’ve taught online, and before that, I spent four years teaching in Istanbul and Seoul. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Maryland teaching certification.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy life in Chiang Mai with my wife and our energetic dog, Sheila, who keeps me active with daily walks and hikes.
I’ve traveled to many countries across Asia and Europe and love learning about different cultures and perspectives. I bring that curiosity and openness into every lesson I teach.我的教學經歷
My teaching approach is centered on you, the student. I take time to understand your specific goals and tailor each lesson to meet your needs. I’ll assess your level, identify any habits that may slow your progress, and help you correct them. My lessons emphasize active engagement through conversation, with clear, supportive feedback along the way. With years of experience teaching learners from diverse backgrounds, I aim to make each class effective and enjoyable. I currently offer conversational English classes focused on reading, speaking, and listening skills. We can use news articles or texts of your choice, or engage in role-plays based on real-life situations to practice vocabulary, expressions, and grammar in context. If you prefer a more spontaneous conversation style, we can go do that too. I’m flexible and happy to adapt to your preferred learning approach. My goal is to make each session practical, engaging, and tailored to your needs so you can build confidence and fluency in real-world English.我的教材
