Hello, I'm Stacy, born and raised in Suriname, where Dutch is the official language and is complemented by more than 10 other spoken languages, reflecting its rich cultural diversity. By day, I work as an architect assistant, applying my high-school architecture training to real-world projects. Next to my job, I have a deep passion for language, communication, and music, which I have cultivated over the years. In my free time, I enjoy baking *koekjes*, engaging in arts and crafts, and exploring nature through hiking. Spending quality time with my family and loved ones is also a cherished part of my life.
As a teacher, I am patient, positive and motivating. I believe learning should be fun.
It is important to me that my students feel at ease, so that they dare to talk and make mistakes - because that is part of learning! I always say to laugh it off, it helps to make the learning experience more fun.
I listen carefully to what my students need, and adapt my lessons to their level, interests and learning goals.
I help you not only to understand the language, but above all to speak Dutch confidently in everyday situations.
My lessons are relaxed, friendly and practical.
We focus on articulation, pronunciation and conversation.
I like to use interesting topics such as culture, everyday situations, hobbies or current affairs to make the lesson interesting and fun. Here and there, i'll throw in a fun exercise.

學士學位 - ArchitectureI studied Architecture and Building Engineering at Natin.
The focus of my studies was on designing and constructing buildings, including both the technical and creative aspects of architecture.
I learned about building design, construction methods, materials, structural drawing, and how to bring architectural ideas to life through planning and technical accuracy. Both English and Dutch were a part of my studies.
