Hi, I’m Declan, a CELTA-certified English teacher from Ireland with an honours Business degree from the University of London. I specialize in helping students improve their English for exams, business, or everyday communication. With 15 years of experience, I’m a passionate English teacher committed to helping students improve their language skills. I use creative and effective methods to engage learners and help them reach their goals. Currently teaching in Queretaro, Mexico, I've also taught in Madrid, Spain, and my home city of Dublin, Ireland. In my conversation classes, I focus on improving fluency and building confidence in using English. I provide error correction in a supportive, encouraging way to help you reach your goals. I choose fun, engaging topics and ensure you do most of the speaking. For exam preparation (IELTS, FCE, CAE), I concentrate on speaking, use of English, and writing, offering helpful vocabulary and materials. I’ve been practicing English with him for several weeks, and he is a very good teacher. If you have any requests for your classes, he adapts the content to your needs and makes the class both educational and fun. It’s also very easy to talk to him if you need to reschedule or if you have any issues on the day of your class. I highly recommend him!!
