नमस्ते ! Namaste ! Bonjour ! Hello ! My name is Rijendra Shrestha, I live in Kathmandu and I speak French, English, Newari and Hindi. I am a Nepali and French language teacher, translator and author of French grammar books. I have a deep interest in other cultures and how people learn new languages. During my four years in France, I met people from different countries who were interested in Nepal. Thanks to them, I learned many things, of which I was not aware about my own country and culture. I am sure that you already know few words in Nepali, "namaste", "yoga", "Himalaya", "stupa", "yak"... Helping my students to learn Nepali is my main motivation. I have been teaching Nepali for 7 years and French for 12 years. I am a certified teacher with a master degree in teaching French as a foreign language. I am very patient with my students and believe that everyone learns at different pace. All my teaching methods suit my students' needs. Being once a student of French and English languages, I know what difficulties and challenges one faces while learning a new language. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I teach in a friendly atmosphere during our one-to-one lessons. I use diverse tools to make the lessons interactive and entertaining, such as famous Nepali songs lyrics, restaurant menus, pictures from the daily life in Kathmandu, interactive online vocabulary exercises. If you are a beginner, you will be learning how to greet in Nepali, introduce yourself, ask basic questions, talk about your family, useful sentences for shopping... In a few lessons, you will also learn to make simple sentences using basic structures of Nepali and Nepali alphabets. If you want to learn Nepali for a specific purpose, we can plan the lessons together to meet your goal. Hope to see you soon in class !我的教材
