¡Hola! I’m a Spanish teacher and linguist from Argentina, and I have spent the last 7 years of my life finding ways to make learning Spanish as simple as possible. That is my motto: "la vida es simple" (life is simple). It took me time to understand that learning a language should not be a matter of investing countless hours learning theory and linguistics, and that if I wanted to be a great teacher, I would have to streamline the process. So... I did. I go the extra mile and teach you things that many teachers are not even aware of (and therefore do not teach). It may seem contradictory, but simplified learning does not mean learning less - it means learning what actually works. I analyse and explore the inner workings of Spanish, and I am always coming up with new ways to make learning Spanish as simple as possible and to help you overcome any difficulty. There is no unique style that suits everybody, so it is up to me to adapt to what you need. A good teacher must know their students well, and that involves many factors: - The languages the student speaks: similarities and differences with Spanish, advantages and potential difficulties. - The student's preferences: traditional or unorthodox learning. - The student's needs: areas of improvement - The student's objectives and expectations - Existing learning difficulties and bad experiences with past teachers - Interests and hobbies

This is my first teacher on italki and I have nothing but good things to say. He has great energy, open minded, and a strong desire for you to have great outcomes. If you're on the fence or just intimidated by the finally taking a lesson, this is a very safe space, you won't regret it.
