My name is Peter and I want to be your next German or English teacher.
I have more than 20 years of experience teaching both German and English.
I started out as a high school teacher in Germany and lived almost 20 years in Canada
where I did my PhD in German and taught Linguistics and German at various universities.
I now live in Mexico and teach German and English online.
My native language is German. I was born in Stuttgart, but it is hard for people to tell. I speak standard German and this is what I teach to my students as well.我的教學經歷
I have taught students of all ages and all levels for all kinds of different purposes. In recent years I have done a lot of test preparations for people who want to live and work in Germany. They have to prepare for standardized exams for their visa requirements as well as for specific exams for their respective fields of work.
In my experience, every learner is different and has different learning goals. Let us explore these goals and what type of learner you are in order to tailor your classes to your needs.我的課程內容與教學風格
In general, classes will be in the target language and will be communicative to get you the maximum exposure and speaking practice. But I don’t have any problem explaining tough grammar points and other concepts in English or Spanish if necessary.
My lessons will be tailored to your needs . I have taught almost subject under the sun. If you need to take one or several lessons to prepare for something specifc (job interview, giving a speech , to a sales presentation, etc.) send me your requirements and I will help you get there.我的教材
