Martinus Loch

I had another class with Martinus today where we discussed in Latin, the life of Virgil, and next lesson we will continue with a study of the Aeneid. Martinus was encouraging throughout, and I got a lot out of the lesson.

In every lesson, Martinus is flexible and adapts the material to my level and interests. He sends extra material which he thinks will be useful and interesting. He's very generous, patient, and accommodating.

I had my first lesson with Martinus today, and I was very impressed. I am confident he will continue to help me with my spoken Latin. I look forward to our next lesson.

Classes with Martinus are always informative and enjoyable. He explains everything very well whenever I have a question, he's patient and thorough, and he offers helpful tips about how to remember things I consistently forget. He has great enthusiasm for the subject, which brings it alive and makes everything more enjoyable, in addition to helping with my comprehension and being able to take unfamiliar words or usages in context and internalise the language. Having free talk on whatever subjects pop up is also incredibly helpful, and Martinus is very patient and encouraging when I'm struggling to say things that are out of reach for me, and always helps me find the most natural and correct way to phrase things, and explains the different senses of saying things in different ways.
