Chisato-sensei is a wonderful teacher! She is so kind and genuinely cares about my progress. She creates such a warm, supportive atmosphere that makes learning Japanese feel completely stress-free and fun. Her lessons are well-structured, and she provides plenty of great learning materials. I especially appreciate how well she documents everything during our class and creates great notes, which makes reviewing afterward so easy and helpful. I always look forward to our lessons!

Truly, I cannot say enough good things about Chisato-sensei! Her lessons are well-organized and well-prepared, and she provides fantastic resources for her students. She conducts each lesson with a conversational approach, and she is deft at not only spotting mistakes, but also at correcting the underlying misunderstanding that leads to those mistakes. I find that I leave each lesson with greater confidence in my ability to speak the language and to continue learning it. And, as if you needed a bonus, Chisato's really nice and learning is fun in this environment.

5/5 stars. Chisato-san is always prepared with very helpful and approachable materials (useful for self study/review) and the overall class structure flows very naturally. She is excellent at pacing lessons faster or slower based on student comprehension of each section, and answers grammar/vocab questions simply and at a level I can understand. Chisato-san is always very personable and easy to learn from and I will be continuing to book lessons! As a complete beginner in Japanese, I highly recommend Chisato-san.
