I'm Martina and I'm a linguist. I like to introduce myself this way because linguistics is an important aspect of my lessons and personality. I love languages, and even more, I love teaching them.
Soy Martina y soy lingüista. Me gusta presentarme así porque la lingüística es un aspecto importante de mis clases y de mi personalidad. Me encantan los idiomas y más aún, me encanta enseñarlos.

As a linguist, I care about grammar. But I don't mean mechanical, repetitive study. On the contrary, I help students discover the structure of the language and provide them with tools for independent understanding.
Como lingüista, me interesa mucho la gramática. Con esto no me refiero a un estudio mecánico y repetitivo. Al contrario, ayudo a los estudiantes a descubrir la estructura del idioma y les doy instrumentos para comprenderla autónomamente.
Da linguista, ci tengo molto alla grammatica. Con questo non mi riferisco allo studio meccanico e ripetitivo. Anzi: mi piace far scoprire la struttura della lingua e fornire strumenti per comprenderla autonomamente. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In my lessons I focus on developing all four skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Grammar is key, but it's not the only ingredient: contextual vocabulary, culture, and conversation are also essential.
En mis clases, me centro en desarrollar las cuatro habilidades: escuchar, leer, escribir y hablar. La gramática es clave, pero no es el único ingrediente: el vocabulario contextual, la cultura y la conversación también son esenciales.
Nelle mie lezioni mi concentro sullo sviluppo di tutte e 4 le abilità: ascolto, lettura, scrittura e produzione orale. La grammatica è centrale, ma non è l'unico ingrediente: sono fondamentali vocabolario in contesto, cultura, e conversazione.我的教材

Martina is an amazing teacher. She is very responsive to my particular needs and very patient with allowing me the time to put my thoughts together in forming whatever it is I am trying to say. Many instructors just interrupt and interject the correct word or phrase without giving a chance to develop the sentence yourself. Highly recommend Martina.
