Hi! I’m Buğra, Turkish teacher living in Istanbul.
I have a master’s degree and a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language from the Yunus Emre Institute — the most prestigious institution in this field in Turkey.
I have taught Turkish for over five years in Somalia, Iraq, and Turkey, working with students from many different backgrounds and age groups. I currently teach Turkish language and literature at a high school, and I’m passionate about helping students discover the beauty of the Turkish language and culture.我的教學經歷
Learning a new language takes time and patience — and that’s exactly what you’ll find in my lessons. I always create a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable making mistakes and improving step by step. Our communication won’t be limited to the lesson; I’m here to help you throughout your learning journey. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I use a graphics tablet in my lessons, which allows me to make the lesson efficient by writing on the screen we project to you. My lessons follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and focus equally on the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
To make progress faster, I often assign short listening or writing tasks outside of class and provide feedback.
Whether you are a complete beginner (A1) or an advanced learner (C1–C2), I’ll tailor our lessons to your goals using rich materials, visuals, and cultural examples to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Buğra :) he's very patient, friendly and well-prepared. I appreciate how he adapts his speaking manner to the level of the student and clearly explains new words. Highly recommended for anyone how wants to learn Turkish in an enjoyable and comfortable way! 🙏🏼😊
