I’m Mariam Jane, a 24-year-old educator from the Philippines with a strong passion for teaching and a dynamic approach to learning. I hold a degree in Special Needs Education and have over two years of experience teaching English, Filipino, and Cebuano to both children and adults. I also provide tutoring in Science and Math, supporting students in both academic and personal development. I work with a diverse range of learners including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in my local community as well as adult learners who are studying for work, academic advancement, or personal growth. My lessons are designed to be inclusive, engaging, and supportive. Being a teacher is a wild mix of passion, patience, and knowing when to crack a good joke 😄. My teaching style is simple: I break down tricky topics into bite-sized, easy-to-understand lessons, no stress, no pressure, just good vibes and learning at your own pace! I love creating a relaxed classroom where students feel safe to ask questions (even the “Is this a dumb question?” kind because there’s no such thing!). I’m super friendly, big on rapport, and always ready to cheer you on as you learn.
