I am super happy with Ula as my teacher. The classes are varied and fun, topics and tempo are perfectly suited to my level. She prepares a program for each lesson, combination of grammar, reading, listening, conversation etc. She explains grammar clearly, and makes notes for me about vocabulary/grammar during the class, which she sends to me afterwards. I have already progressed, and the classes motivate me to also practice myself outside class with the class notes and (optional) exercises/homework. Before we started we discussed my goals so that we can work towards them in the best way. Ula assessed my current level during our first try out lesson/conversation. We speak only Slovenian during the classes, which speeds up learning too. She is very friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend following classes with her!

Ula is the best Slovene teacher I've ever had. I've been living in Slovenia for quite some time now, I've been to many Slovene courses, and this is the first time I feel confident and excited to learn this quite complicated language! She's easy to talk to, keeps things structured but also simple, fun and engaging! She doesn't overwhelm you with too much information, speaks slowly, at a level she knows you'll mostly understand. I also really love that she takes notes for me when we're talking and new vocabulary comes, and sends me recordings of our classes, so I can focus on talking, without worring about taking notes or remembering everything we went over. She adapts her classes and exercises to your level, and it feels really dynamic. If you're someone like me who struggles with learning in group settings, and you're motivated to learn, Ula is the best teacher. She's clearly an experienced and knows what she's doing. I cannot recommend her more! Don't hesitate!

Ula is a very good teacher who meets the student where they are at. I had some pre-existing knowledge from learning some Croatian, and we were able to change those habits. Ula uses books, exercises, and other hands-on methods for teaching, which is usually left up to the student. Also, Ula tries to speak as much Slovenian as possible in order to create the immersion effect during lessons.
