Gina is a very caring and patient teacher, and she pays attention to what I want to learn. She's always happy to make great new original learning materials, and tailor her lesson style and topics from my requests. Her personality is warm and gentle and she's open to chatting about local lifestyle too. She helps me with pronunciation and language structure using practical sample sentences, which also impart some Philippines customs in our lesson.

Great lesson with Gina! We read several short stories that Gina created. Gina explained each sentence and noted down the new vocabulary words. The stories had a good mix of vocabulary that we already learned and new vocabulary. We also talked about music and about school uniforms. It was another fun lesson with Gina!

I’ve a been a regular student of Tagalog with Gina . The more classes I take , the more I get amazed at Gina’s teaching skills . The classes are well structured , interactive and fun ! Gina is warm and encouraging and creates a safe environment to practice. She makes each lesson engaging with real life phrases and lots of cultural references. I’m totally in love with the Filipino culture and Gina makes it so easy to embrace the language learning process. Great lesson with Gina! We started with small talk about family and the holidays. After that, we read several stories that Gina had prepared. Gina asked me questions about different words from the story to make sure that I really understood it. Gina is very good at checking to see that I know the meaning and understand when words are similar or confusing!
