Anna

Anna is a great teacher that I highly recommend. She comes prepared to every lesson with new material to study. She saves all the words and expressions learnt throughout the lesson and sends them to you after the lesson has ended. Anna is particularly patient, helpful and friendly. She knows how to explain foreign concepts and unfamiliar words in a way that is approachable. She also gives lots of examples on how to use new words in context. I would definitely say she is by far the most professional teacher I've ever had. Don't hesitate to book a lesson with her, no matter what your level is.

I've been studying Russian with Anna for three months. Learning languages is my hobby, so I've had plenty of teachers before. Some of them were great, but most of them had questionable teaching styles, and/or were simply unpleasant as people. Anna, however, is absolutely amazing in many ways. She is very attentive and makes sure you understand every aspect of the language, be it grammar or pronunciation. She doesn't just skip parts and "hopes" you'll learn it on your own, leaving you in the dark. She makes sure you get cultural insights also. After all, it shapes the language. This makes it easier to understand, remember, and connect things. She also has a friendly, positive, and cheerful personality. I'm looking forward to every single lesson, because I know it won't be just another dry class. It will be fun, and that helps me stay motivated. A simple conclusion would be: Anna likes what she's doing, and she's doing it exceptionally :)

Anna is a fantastic teacher who makes even the most complex Russian grammar clear and accessible. What sets her apart are the unique language tips she shares—insights I haven’t found in any textbook or other courses. Beyond the language, her deep knowledge of Eastern European culture and travel has been invaluable for my upcoming trips. I especially appreciated that she stayed late today to ensure I fully understood a difficult concept. I highly recommend her and look forward to our future lessons!

Anna uses a variety of methods to teach and reinforce the material. She is very personable and fun to study with. It’s not easy sometimes with these platforms to find the person that matches your style and personality, and, more importantly where you want to invest your money. I would wholeheartedly recommend Anna to anyone. If I’m able to grasp this language, I intend to learn with Anna indefinitely.

Аня is such an encouraging and easygoing teacher! I actually feel like I’ve experienced much more growth with her help than I did when I attended Russian classes. Now I have the opportunity to learn at my own pace, to practice, make an effort, and challenge myself. The classes are well adapted to my level — challenging in a way I really missed — and I enjoy them so much! She even prepared exercises from the book I told her that I was using, and provided notes and materials from the class afterwards so I could review and prepare for the next one, which shows how thoughtful and supportive she is. Аня truly shows interest in keeping her students engaged from every angle — tradition, culture, career paths, personal interests — which is so cool of her. She has such a sharing and honest personality, and I hope to keep learning with her for a long time :)
