Hello! My name is Karen and I’m 32 years old. I’m originally from Mexico, but I’ve been living in Serbia for five years now. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing cozy video games and spending time in nature.

I’m a native Spanish speaker and medical doctor who has lived and worked in Serbian hospitals. Having learned Serbian as a second language, I know the challenges it entails and can guide you step by step from A1 to B2. With my medical background, I can also support learners interested in professional or medical contexts, in Serbian, Spanish, or English. Because I can compare Serbian and Spanish from a learner’s perspective, I highlight details even natives may not notice. As a language learner myself, I aim to make my lessons:

⭐️Focused on you: Please feel comfortable to express yourself and don’t be afraid to make mistakes (they are our golden opportunities for learning). I’ll always correct you after you finish speaking, and will never interrupt you.
