My name is Igor, I'm 23 years old and I live in the state of Maranhão, Brazil. I am currently a medical student and teach Portuguese on italki. I'm a very eclectic person when it comes to everything. I love learning languages, I'm fluent in Portuguese, I have a C2 level in English and I'm learning French (one day, I intend to become polyglot), learning about different cultures and how the language works in each one of them. I'm a very open person to talk about practically anything. I like different types of music, movies, TV shows, sports (my favorite is volleyball), cooking, traveling, and I'm always learning new things.我的教學經歷
I have some experience in teaching Portuguese to foreigners, as I have already hosted some exchange students at my house, for an international program for medical students, and I found it very fun, because I am a language lover and always try to make the process of learning my mother tongue as easy as possible to people, just as I would like it to happen to me when I'm learning another language, because I know there are many challenges. I am very patient in helping you improve your pronunciation, some grammar rules and answer any questions.我的課程內容與教學風格
My classes are focused on conversation, as I believe it is one of the best (if not the best) ways to learn a new language. Classes take place according to the needs of each student, whether to train pronunciation, writing, listening, or to prepare for a test. I use materials according to your level and according to your needs, such as exercises, examples of using Portuguese in different situations, formal or informal, among others. I like to bring interesting and useful topics to talk about and to help you learn in a more relaxed way.我的教材

Igor is a really nice person! We talked about Brazil, my country, and a few other random topics. I was able to clear up some doubts about Portuguese and even practice a little. It was a great experience! I definitely recommend him.
