Hi!
I’m Alyssa, a passionate and dedicated language teacher.
I believe in creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where my students feel motivated and confident to reach their full potential.
With a solid foundation in Dutch and a focus on making learning both engaging and practical, I’m excited to help you improve your skills and achieve your language goals.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, photography, and immersing myself in different cultures. I also love spending time with animals. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me working with pets or brainstorming ideas for my next adventure. I’m a firm believer in the power of language to connect people.我的教學經歷
I hold two degrees in foreign languages and literature from “La Sorbonne” in Paris, where I studied Dutch and English. My academic background is rich in linguistics, grammar, phonetics, translation, literature, and cultural studies, providing me with a solid foundation in both languages and their respective cultures.
For the past three years, I have been teaching Dutch and English to students of all ages.
My approach is always tailored to the individual needs of each student.
I begin every course with a needs assessment, so I can understand their learning goals and preferences. This helps me design personalized lessons, whether the student needs more structure or a more relaxed style.我的課程內容與教學風格
I place a strong emphasis on adapting my methodology based on the student’s approach to learning.A key part of my teaching philosophy is making language learning enjoyable and effective.
I believe in learning through real-life situations and topics that interest my students.
I avoid overwhelming them with excessive theory at the beginning and instead focus on learning what’s most relevant in the moment. I also strive to inject fun into every lesson with anecdotes and insights into the culture behind the language, which I believe makes the process much more engaging and memorable.
My ultimate goal is not only to help my students master a new language but also to enjoy the journey of learning我的教材

LLCER - Paris 4 Sorbonne - 2019To obtain my Licence en Langues, Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères (LLCE) in English and Dutch at La Sorbonne, I completed a three-year academic program focused on linguistic, literary, and cultural studies. Additionally, I had to pass written and oral exams, complete research projects, and demonstrate proficiency in both languages through academic essays and presentations. The degree also prepared students for careers in language education, research, and international communication.
