🌼 When I was a university student, I worked as a private tutor for junior and senior high school students for nearly 10 years. After that, I spent about 15 years at an organization supporting technical intern trainees and a Japanese language training center.
🌼 I love animals and plants! I especially adore dogs and cats, and I enjoy creating watercolor and digital illustrations of them. 🐶😸💕
🌼 I’ve traveled to Taiwan 🇹🇼 and Australia 🇦🇺—both were amazing!

This lesson focuses on improving your Japanese conversation skills through practical exercises!
-Practice words and useful phrases with flashcards.
-Read articles, including news stories.
-Review and practice grammar

In addition to the above, textbooks can be used for those who wish. Several examples are posted in the “日本語文法のお部屋📕🖍️Japanese Grammar Room”.
🍁 Homework (Optional)
You can send me a photo or PDF of your writing before class, and I’ll review it with you during the lesson. Feel free to submit it whenever it’s convenient!

Lessons are available for junior high school students and adults.
🍄 Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson start time, the full lesson fee will be charged.
🍄 Lesson Timing
Please join the lesson right on time! If you arrive early, I may still be teaching another student or away from my desk.
🍄 Lesson Duration
Each lesson includes a 5-minute break at the end. Here’s how the actual lesson time works:
30-minute lesson → 25 minutes of instruction
45-minute lesson → 40 minutes of instruction

If you are looking to start learning Japanese, or wanting to get better at it, I can highly recommend Yukie Sensei. Individually, she meets you language skill needs, challenges you so you can get better and supports you on the way. Her materials that she provides helped me so much to get better. Not only do I think she is a fantastic teacher, but also her personality is very well suited for her profession. I want to learn more, so I can speak better Japanese. Thank you, Yukie Sensei!

I love my lessons with Yukie-san because we have time to work on grammar, do some exercises and have a little chat. I appreciate her sense of humour and benevolence, she makes you feel at ease and it helps a lot in learning Japanese:-)

Class was good today! We started with some speaking practice and talking about Halloween!
Then we practiced te and ta forms with verbs and adjectives (something ibkind of struggle with)
After that we continued preparing for the JLPT N5 with a lot of reading and comprehension practice! Learned a lot about different particles and forms
Class with Yukie Sensei is always light and fun! It's happening gradually, but I do feel like I'm getting! Excited to keep learning with Sensei
