Hello, I'm Mick, a native Japanese instructor originally from Osaka. As a CELTA-certified educator with experience teaching both Japanese and English, I specialize in creating engaging lessons tailored to beginners and intermediate learners. My teaching approach emphasizes building conversational confidence in a relaxed environment while incorporating cultural elements like Osaka dialect and J-POP for an immersive experience. Outside the classroom, my interests include music performance (guitar, drums, vocals), international travel, and anime/game culture - all of which I enjoy integrating into personalized lesson plans when appropriate.
