Hi! I’m an internationally experienced teacher who loves connecting with people through language and learning. I’ve taught and worked for over a decade in different cultural settings through programs like Peace Corps and WorldTeach, which taught me that the best learning happens when people feel relaxed, understood, and supported. I am from the U.S.A (born in NY and raised in CA) and have lived and soaked up languages and cultures in eight countries over the course of the past fifteen years. Currently I live in Cappadocia, Türkiye with my partner and two dogs (a chow-chow and a golden retriever). I am a certified yoga instructor and my top hobby is travel. ✈️🧘🏽🐾我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I’m friendly, patient, and very easy to talk to. I know how intimidating practicing a new language can feel as I'm currently learning my fifth, so I focus on creating a comfortable space where mistakes are welcome and progress feels natural. My international teaching experience has helped me adapt quickly to different learning styles and personalities. I’m TEFL certified and genuinely enjoy helping students grow in confidence while practicing real, useful communication. My lessons are student-tailored so they can range from relaxed and social to structured and intensive; all aimed at helping you attain your goals. We focus on real conversations, useful vocabulary, and building confidence step by step—without pressure. Thanks to my TEFL training and hands-on experience across eight countries, I balance the content with flexibility so lessons feel productive but never stressful.
