I started taking lessons with this teacher when my Danish level was around A2, and I only had 10 days and 10 lessons left before my PD3 exam. Thanks to his help, I managed to get a grade 7, which I’m really proud of! He is extremely kind and patient. No matter how many mistakes I made, he never laughed or made me feel bad — instead, he calmly corrected me every time and helped me improve. His supportive attitude made me feel comfortable and more confident during every lesson. Danish pronunciation has always been very difficult for me, but he took the time to explain exactly how to say each word and helped me understand the pronunciation step by step. The lessons were intense but well-structured, and I always felt that he was fully committed to helping me succeed. I highly recommend him to anyone preparing for the PD3 exam or looking to improve their Danish in a friendly and supportive environment.

Jakob is very patient and explains grammar clearly. He repeats difficult words and gets me talking. I leave each lesson feeling encouraged.

My first lesson with Jakob was really encouraging. He explains things well and adjusts the lesson to my comfort level and pace. He tests my ability and my knowledge while still giving guidance & encouragement when needed. I am feeling hopeful that Jakob will be able to help improve my danish speaking & listening skills.

We had a very useful lesson on the pronunciation of "g" which is a bit complicated and also covered inversion of verbs, something I had never understood, Jakob was very clear and patient.

Jeg prøvede italki for første gang med Jakob som lærer og jeg havde en rigtig god oplevelse. Tiden gik meget hurtigt. Han er tålmodig og forklarede mine fejl. Jeg vil helt sikkert booke flere lektioner for at forbedre mit dansk. =)
